Situated directly opposite the Cranbourne Racecourse and Training Facility, the Colin Davies Racing Stables offers owners the opportunity have their horses trained with premium facilities without the premium price. Colin's property consists of modern Stables, Day yards and an exercise track.

Three times Group 1 placed and a winner at group 2 level Stanzout is by far the most successful galloper Colin has trained, even more pleasing is the fact that Colin bred the gelding out of his Mentat Duke mare Stanza Grey by unfashionable stallion Gallo Di Ferro

Trebles and Doubles are not an unusual occurrence for the Davies Racing Stables. Through further studies, Colin has developed a real understanding of the thoroughbred and is known to his many Clients not just as a trainer but as a genuine horseman.

Colin has had numerous successes with horses cast off from other stables, often labeled as non winners or too much trouble. With care and patience Colin has rejuvenated their careers. It is not an uncommon to see 7yo or 8yo not only winning but constantly winning once in his care. An example is the recent Caulfield winner Shadow whom Colin acquired after being deemed a non racing proposition by his former trainer. Not only has he won many races for the connections but has brought them the thrill of racing in, and being placed in listed company.

Sprint or Distance races, Fillies, Mares, Colts or Geldings. Local or interstate nothing is too much of a challenge. Colin won the Swettenham Stud Stakes in Adelaide with his then good Filly "Vatican Lass" Trained his good stayer "Wazza Star" to a place in the 3200m Duke of Norfolk Stakes at Flemington and a very creditable 6th in a Brisbane Cup.

• Slow Sand 1500m x 8m (no outside rail).
