Welcome to stanzout.com, home to the Colin Davies Racing Stables
Racehorse trainer Colin Davies, based at Cranbourne Victoria, is back in the headlines with his training efforts of the three times Group 1 placed and a winner at group 2 level Stanzout. Colin has brought the flying grey back from a potential career ending infection due to a side effect of the E.I. vaccination to win the Newmarket of the Bush the time honoured and stakes listed " Wangoom Hcp" at Warrnambool.

At Colin Davies Racing Stables you can be sure of one thing, your horse will be given every opportunity to perform to its best. All owners would love to win big races in the city but the reality is; only a select few horses are up to Group standard. Some horses find it hard to win in town so I am happy to travel to where the horse can compete successfully says Colin. I understand that every owner deserves to see their horse in the winner's circle so if I need to send a horse around at the picnics or in the bush then so be it.
Recent winners Sallyhernane, Pure Dancer and Winglesia have all proved Colin's persistence and placement correct.

Racehorse Ownership without the expense. Try a Partnership?
So you want to make money in the sport of Kings but can't afford the initial outright outlay. Then Colin Davies can assist with racehorse ownership through a partnership. Owning a shared racehorse with a few partners can be a fun and exhilarating experience.

Stanzout tops off a big day for the Davies clan
With the Mooney Valley race pattern heavily favouring front runners, Col and Jockey Craig Williams decided to use some of Standouts' natural speed and have him up on the pace from his inside draw in barrier 3. Craig rode the gallant grey a treat and approaching the turn angled him out and gave chase to the pacemaker Morgan Dollar-Even though Stanzout has never won over the 1000m it was soon evident that the dropping back from WFA Class to today's HCP was all that was needed to have Colin's stable star back in the winner's circle.
Colin is now eyeing a Manikato Stakes at the Valley. The Group 1 Manikato is run over 1200m at the Valley on September 24 and Col said he has finally got Stanzout back to where he was two or three years ago. "It's taken a long time and a lot of hard work but I can let you know, he's worth it, and he's still got plenty in him," "He's run unbelievable sectional times at his past two starts and hopefully the Manikato is in sight," Col said.
It been a busy but great day for the family today- Before coming to the races I was at Docklands to see my son Ricky toss the coin at the St Kilda v Richmond game. Chad, Col oldest son strapped Stanzout and along with Col will have to keep the race track celebrations short and sweet because after tending to the horses in the stable they are off to see the other son Peter playing guitar for his heavy metal band.

SAINTSBET.COM gives Col more reasons to smile
With Stanzout getting up at the Valley today, Colin was of course jubilant, but he had more reason to smile- Col being confident that his stable star would salute took advantage of the fabulous offer of 15% bonus odds through Saintsbet.com. Col said it's as easy as registering and placing any bet, for a St Kilda fan it does not get any better for me.
